GEOMETRY – VITAL FOR HIGH SCHOOL MATHEMATICS
Geometry is one of the oldest and most important branches of mathematics. Many many years ago around 300 BC, a person living in Greece named Euclid, was named the father of geometry. The subject of geometry is concerned with size and shape, with dimension and position. Geometry literally means — “Earth Measure.”
Geometry requires a couple of things. The first is a compass. That is pictured above! A ruler and compass are also both needed.
